CEADO support’s Croatian Anti-Doping Division
Founding members of Central European Anti-Doping Organization – Austria (NADA Austria), Croatia (CIPH), Hungary (HUNADO), Poland (POLADA), Serbia (ADAS), Slovakia (SADA) and Slovenia (SLOADO) – represented at the Founding Meeting in Budapest on 28th May 2019, have decided to support efforts of the Division for Anti-Doping of Croatian Institute of Public Health to change national legislation which would result in establishing a national anti-doping organization with full legal independence whose sole purpose is to protect clean sport on the principles of good governance, operational independence, appropriate and transparent financing, and recognizability. This initiative together with the initiative to amend national legislation in relation to anti-doping in sport is aimed to better align the position of the national anti-doping organization with the UNESCO Convention, Anti-Doping Convention of the Counsel of Europe and World Anti-Doping Code. All the mentioned documents are completely dedicated to preserving the spirit of clean sport.
